Article 36.16 of Organic Law 4/2015 treats unlawful drug consumption or possession in public places, roads, public establishments or collective transport as a serious administrative infringement, even when not intended for trafficking. It also covers abandoning instruments or other items used for those activities in those places.
Keep this rule in mind when travelling around Madrid or Mallorca: avoid unlawful consumption and possession in the listed spaces. The rule also applies to members, residents and visitors.
This administrative infringement is not the same as a trafficking offence. Intended personal use does not, by itself, remove the rule on unlawful public possession. Read the exact Spanish clause of article 36.16 · BOE source.

Before leaving, distinguish the association’s internal rules from the rules for your journey. The rule on unlawful public consumption and possession still applies in the street and on collective transport; an invitation or membership does not create an exception.
Check the association’s policy if you have questions about leaving. That information is not legal authorisation to take cannabis away: possession and transport are assessed under the applicable rules and facts. For a specific question, seek advice about your situation rather than a supposedly “permitted” number of grams.
The public-space administrative infringement and conduct under article 368 are different matters. Possession alone is not a criminal offence in every case.

The venue’s private status and the activity carried out there are different matters. The case explained by the CGPJ illustrates why organisation and facts matter when assessing an activity, not just its location. Consult the CGPJ explanation
Check its membership conditions, required age, accepted documents, fee and payment period. If travelling, confirm the conditions for visitors or residents before arranging your visit.
House rules and membership conditions help you prepare your visit. They are the association’s internal requirements, distinct from the legislation it must follow.
